Summary: Bridging the Divide: Making Regions Work for Everyone— Shaping the Federal Agenda
Revitalizing central cities and combating suburban sprawl are complementary parts to achieving the goal of making regions work for everyone. This theme, set the tone of the “Bridging the Divide” conference, sponsored by HUD and held on December 13–14, 1999, in Washington, D.C. This report summarizes the presentations and discussions from the “Bridging the Divide” conference. It includes brief summaries of papers prepared for the conference.
